max volume

I've used Max Duy, L1 maximizer, focusrite
d3, etc. I still feel I'm not getting the
volume on my burns that others get? Any ideas.

If you are comparing your CD's to commercially available CD's you should keep in mind that many CD's (or the audio on them) is compressed and then normalized significantly.

Compression and/or Limiting will reduce any peaks in the material and Normalizing will bring the entire gain or volume up.

If you were to look at the meters of audio from a compressed and normalized CD you would see that the meters don't fluctuate much (or as much) and they remain right under and almost on 0 db.

Writing a CD is a digital transfer so what you put into Masterlist CD is what you will get out, assuming you haven't put any gain changes in the Masterlist.
