After seeing that Mac OS 10.3.4 has been qualified and recommended for PT 6.4, I updated my system from 10.3.2. However, I think it introduced a small Command8 bug:
When I press the "Mon/0 button" (0 = out of phase sign), the LED on the button lights momentarily, but does not stay lit when in "Input Only" monitor mode (even though the small green light in the trasport window lights solid). BUT if I switch the Input Only/Auto Input status from within PT (using option-K or the mouse), the LED on the C8's "Mon/0" stays lit in Input Only mode, as it should.
I've updated the firmware and tested this on two different C8 units - both the same. And the only thing I have changed in the last week as been my operating system.
Can someone else confirm these findings in OS 10.3.4? It's as simple as opening a session and pressing the Mon/0 button to see if it ever stays solidly lit.
It's small things like this that make you wonder what other little bugs can/will creep in.
