Hi

Is it possible to remove the annoying message about OMS when launching 2.1.1 without it? When using SC with Logic Audio OMS is unnecessary.

Thanks,

jon

The SampleCell Editor is an OMS application which means that without OMS you will not get any MIDI at all going into the editor (and from there routed to the card). This is why it warns you about not having OMS installed.

There is no way to disable that warning message, the only way around it that I can think of is to install OMS.

"without OMS you will not get any MIDI at all going into the editor..."

Sorry, but using Logic Audio you most certainly do get MIDI going into the editor without OMS - Logic handles the MIDI routing directly. This is why the message is so annoying, as it is irrelevant to anyone using Logic.

Logic is routing the MIDI straight to the card, not the editor. This is why it's apparently working with Logic running in the background which is fine.

But your point was that the message is annoying and I can see why. I've put a note in to suggest that this be changed in the next release of the Editor.
