Saving your session from Command 8

The word SAVE is suspusiously missing from the manual for the command 8.
Can I save my session from the Control 8 surface ????
I know it doesn't look good for me.

No, you can't save a session from the C8. You have to use the keyboard. The C8 is definitely not a replacement for the keyboard and the mouse. It's too bad they didn't add more capabilities like this to the C8. There's room for more buttons, but I don't know whether that means there is more room for electronics inside to support the additional buttons...
