ok, I installed my 6.4 software, and even after setting up the peripherals, it wont let me select to send to send to Command 8 port 1, it keeps saying it cant find the midi device??? And then it says it cant communicate with the command 8 - What the hell?? please help because I really need it up and running.

Have you downloaded the firmware upgrade? That may help. Go to downloads

Make sure the C/8 profile is in there. I can't remember which folder it is supposed to be in( I'm not on my machine or I would look). But the profiles for the different controlers all have a folder.

hey hey, well cheers for all your help. In the end, I Uninstalled everything pro tools related, and then spent ages reinstalling, and then it said "welcome to command 8!" finally, so now Im all good, I think it was a routing error!
