This is an informal survey for people who own or regularly use removable media devices (Iomega Jaz, SyQuest SyJet, Nikon Beluga, Pinnacle Apex, etc.) for digital audio, video, graphics, or backup/storage.

I would like to know about your experiences -- good or bad.

Please focus on the following items:

- System Information
- What removable devices do you own or use? How many?
- How many cartridges do you own or use?
- What is your primary use for these devices (For example: audio, video, graphics, backup, etc.)? Other uses?

- Performance (audio, video)
- What kinds of track counts do you typically achieve? (record, playback)
- What video capture rates do you achieve? Do you drop frames?
- What levels of editing are you able to achieve? (light, medium, heavy)

- Reliability
- Have you experienced drive failures? If so, how many replacements have you required?
- Have you experienced cartridge failures? If so, how many cartridges have failed out of all the cartridges you've owned?
- If you use the drives for backup and storage of data, are you always able to retrieve archived data?
- What is the oldest cartridge/archive you have? Are you still able to retrieve the archive?

- Satisfaction
- Are you satisfied with the performance of your removable device?
- Are you satisfied with the reliability of your removable device?
- Would you buy another?
- Would you recommend this device to someone else?
- Will you continue to purchase additional cartridges?
- Are you satisfied with the amount of storage per cartridge?
- Why did you purchase your removable device? (For example: convenience, performance, economy, etc.)

- Comments
If you have additional comments on your removable media devices, please feel free to include them.
