I downloaded the demo and works fine. Was jus wonderin if on the full version if audio tracks with inputs as AUXs can be record enabled and recorded to. Obviously the demo doesn't have that feature. I'm hoping that the full version has that feature.
Anyone out there with the full version tried that out?
would appreciate a reply.
Thanks

On the original PTLE this is the way I have done this - just send the output to a bus, instead of a hardware output. Make a new track (just a stereo track, or mono...) and set the input to come from that bus. Apply effect inserts, etc. Then record enable that new channel. Hit record and it works.

I used this to apply Autotune "permanently" before they made it an Audiosuite capable plug-in. But, if you need to hear the "corrected" vocal with the rest of the music, etc this is the only way.

I have'nt tried it on PTMP, but I don't see why it wouldn't work, pretty basic function.

I know the internal wiring part of it. What i faced was(in the demo),
I couldn't record enable the audio track that had an AUX as an input. The record enable was dimmed out. but when i changed the input to a physical input of the sound card, i could record enable that track.
I can understand if it's a security feature on the demo, but what i really like to know is if the paid version also works the same way.
Bottom line... will i be able to record an audio track with the track recvin input from an AUX after payin $300 bucks. Tnx for the prompt reply.

Yes, you absolutely can in the retail version. I rewired to Ableton Live on an aux, set its output to a bus, and set an audio track's input to that bus. I was able to record enable the audio track and record the Ableton output to the audio track.
