DAE not loading upon start up

Hi all,

I managed to download the demo ran and installed both drivers and M-Powered Protools software.

But when I try to open protools I message appears saying "A problem has occurred DAE code xxxx"

Does anybody know what this is?

May or may not be the issue here, but did you reboot after installing the drivers and before installing PTMP?

Erm yes, and the same thing happens

Try these OS X/Pro Tools 6.x Setup & General Troubleshooting (http://duc.digidesign.com/showflat.php?&Number=313423) tips. Also, make sure you have the current M-Audio drivers (http://m-audio.com/index.php?do=support.drivers) for whatever your hardware is. You may need to install those after installing the M-Powered demo, in case the drivers are newer.

Also, if you click on the Search the Answerbase (http://answerbase.digidesign.com/) link at the top of the DUC, you can do a search on the DAE error number. Just put only the number in the search window, and hit Submit. That will bring up any known information about that error.
