OK, I have a G4 which had an mbox and PT LE running on it. I ran the M-audio installer and it asked to uninstall the PT LE. I did the clean uninstall, then it allowed me to proceed. Then I installed the software, connected both FW solo and the ilok, and ran PT M-powered. I got the message: "Digidesign hardware is in use by another application. (-1133) What is going on? What can I do to get it working?

nevermind, I just found out my NEW purchase is a useless pile of crap because there are no tiger drivers yet? What a joke. Shame on you digidesign.

Compatibility information is posted in the compatibility section of our website, where it clearly indicates that Pro Tools is not compatible with Tiger yet. There is also a sticker on the product box that directs you to the online compatibility documents for up to date information.

I realized that Tiger was not compatible with PT (I'm using 001).

So I installed Tiger on a different drive, the plan being to go back to the older OS when I wanted to do PT stuff, and use Tiger for everything else.

Well, I'm getting that same error 1133 on 10.3.9 as on Tiger.

Is Tiger creating this problem?

Thanks!

Mine was actually working for the last while with 10.3.9.....now it just stopped and I have the -1133 error as well.

I'm wondering if the latest security update had something to do with it?

ANy ideas out there? I realize that we are close to a Tiger update and I'll be updating to that setup as soon as it comes out.

Oh well.....if anyone has any help to offer it is appreciated.

I stumble across you guys looked for an MP3 ansswer. I had that same error on the install. I just got a G5. everything is corking, except i can't bounce down to an mp3 file. It gives me an error saying the mpe coded is not in the PT folder. I am not sure what that meeans. I purchased the codec, but I installed it off of the 6.9.2 update bu itself.

any answers?

I am all thumbs to MAC so be easy on my (LOL), but the ausio engine is incredible! I moved over from an XP system.
