Venue and dolby integration

Is there any workflow that can enable Venue produce dolby output?
Also is there any jog control and metering solution for controling the output?
I saw that for Icon all the info is there.. but there is nothing for Venue

hi, what do you mean with dolby? i am shure you mean Surround sound for live aplication? this could only be done with an external Protools system hooked up on the HDx board. you can try to use an unsupportet plugin, but that is very dangerous fro shure. i will use the venue on a forthcoming tour with a protools hd hooked up to do surround movements in a 4 channel enviornment.

Yes.. I mean surround sound. This is what I've discovered today
So the problem is like this
-the designated final user is a tv station
-the want to live mix and transmit to sattelite a live show in dolby format
-they will have a PT HD to RECORD all the show
-they want for the live show surround sound and they want a surround panner similar with that from ICON
I've explain them that they will need to output from venue 6 channels to input them into the dolby encoders. If they will have a PT HD they can output surround and record in the same time?
Is this a reliable configuration? If the PT will fail can you switch to the venue output quick?
