Xpand latency issues?

Hi DUCs,

I am using PTLE 7.0 and the new Xpand VI but I get substantial latency when playing it from my MIDI-keyboard. I also own SampleTank 2 and Sonik Synth 2, and neither of those VI's give me any noticeable latency. Would anyone know how to cure this issue?

I don't get any noticable latency with Xpand. To what value do you have your hardware buffer set?

Played with that a bit... initially I had it at 1024 samples. That gave me some sincere latency. Now I put it down to 512 samples it is noticeably better, but now my system more often give me that dreaded "Your CPU is conflicting with other tasks" message. Isn't there like some golden average?!
