Pro Tools 7.4.2 Patch Installers are now available for download from this Answerbase article:

When launching Pro Tools 7.4.2, I get a dialog about running a pre-release version and Pro Tools will not launch.
This is a known issue with the initial web release of Pro Tools HD, LE, and M-Powered 7.4.2 for Leopard.
The Pro Tools 7.4.2 installers posted to the website from June 19 to June 23, 2008 inadvertantly contained the warning from the Pre-Release version of Pro Tools 7.4.2pr, and this warning will be displayed when launching Pro Tools 7.4.2 on or after July 18, 2008.
The Pro Tools 7.4.2 Patch downloads below eliminate this dialog, as do the current full Pro Tools 7.4.2 downloads posted on June 23, 2008. These 7.4.2 Patch installers require previous installation of Pro Tools 7.4.2
Who Should Use This?
If you downloaded Pro Tools 7.4.2 from the Digidesign website on or before June 23rd, you need this patch.
If you downloaded Pro Tools 7.4.2 from the Digidesign website after June 23rd, you do not need this patch.
If you are using the Pro Tools 7.4.2pr "Pre-Release" version (posted before the official release of Pro Tools 7.4.2 on June 19, 2008), it will expire on July 18, 2008. The "Patch" installers will not update the pre-release version.
