Just got the email that they have finally released the Strobosoft 2.0 software. You will need the FXspansion VST2RTASWrapper but this will give you the ability to use the Peterson tuner as a insert in PT.

Educate me - what's the scoop on this tuner?

I don't know how much you know about tuners, but Peterson it the world class standard for strobe tuners. They make a software version (as opposed to mechanical) of their tuner. You can get the standard version for $49 or the deluxe version for $99. The Deluxe version includes presets for such things as "sweetened" tuning.
I bought the Deluxe version. It is a much better tuner than my Korg DTR 2000 (hardware) tuner and the Korg is a good tuner.
Hope this helps,
Greg

Hands down the best tuner ever.
I should clarify that - I have the hardware version and if the software is anywhere near as good, it's a steal at those prices.

I have have the Stroboflip, Stroborack, and Strobosoft. they all track the low B on a bass better than my previously favorite tuner, the Korg dt-1. and they do a whole lot more. SB

You need a VST wrapper per the first post...
I think it says on their website somewhere that an RTAS version will be coming out soon.
