I just read that eleven was used for 6AM and Crue. Does anybody know where there could be some presets that were used? or any information regarding the specifics with amps/settings?

I would definitely be interested in checking that out. Some impressive tones, if eleven was solely used.

Im sure a fair amount of outboard gear and a GREAT mix had a LOT to do with it.

it had to be in the mix stage.....

and you can get plugins that emulate outboard gear so well that actually messing with with outboard gear seems pointless almost.
