Windows Vista SP2 — Not Tested — No Known Issues
Service Pack 2 for Windows (released May 26, 2009) has not been tested with Pro Tools systems. There are currently no known issues with Vista SP2 compared to Vista SP1 with Pro Tools for Vista. However, users should be aware of the following:
Although there are currently no known issues, Windows Vista SP2 is not yet officially qualified for use with Pro Tools systems. Should you choose to update to Vista SP2, be advised that is an unsupported configuration at this time.
If you choose to update to Windows Vista SP2, it is strongly recommended that you backup your system and create a restore point before updating to SP2, should you encounter any problems after installing the update.
