A preliminary observation..

When instantiating a UAD-2 plugin in the Mix window. The plugin instantiates correctly but PT switches to the Edit window view on top.

More testing later.

Hi Chris,

Yes indeed. Dan at UA customer services had me up and running within 24-hours. Very impressive. You must be on the UA forum. Don't remember posting that here!

I ran a mix this morning using 8.0.3 and loaded in a pile of UAD-2 plugins. Including a couple of 88RS's, a 33609 set as a limiter across the output and several LA2A's. Smooth as silk.

The other thing I was getting to grips with was the Mellow Muse's ATA. Slightly trickier but once you 'get it' it's fine.

From what I've read, the UA plugins aren't the only ones causing the Mix/Edit page flip.

I haven't yet seen any of the other quirks that others have talked about thus far.
