Has anyone lost the fonts in places like the Workspace and the AudioSuite Plug-ins? If so, any ideas how to get them back!

Thanks,

P

Please post if you find a fix, I'm having the same problem. None of the plugin windows show any text. All the menus are still there, there's just no titles in the window, everything else seems to be more or less okay. I've tried un-installing and re-installing with no avail. Hope it's an easy fix as I'd love to not have to reboot into my Leopard partition just to use PT...

Mamacita, you described it perfectly and have attempted the same fix-its as I have, to the same ends.

There must be more than two of us.

Someone please help!

Thanks!

Okay, so, I found that if I created and logged into a new account, the fonts are all there! This leads me to believe it is something in my personalized account and not Snow Leopard.

Anyway, until I find the gremlin(s), you and I can always assume another identity on our macs and use our PT rigs!

Success (albeit with a little voodoo)!

I moved all the fonts out of my personal Fonts folder and into a temp folder on my desktop. I restarted and relaunched PT 803 and the missing fonts in PT returned!

Now, here's the voodoo; when I went searching for the offending font by adding the fonts slowly back into my fonts folder and restarting between transfers, I managed to load them all back in without a problem!

Anyway, try the font moving trick and see if that works.

That's awesome thanks for sharing that!!! I did the lazy man version without the restarts and it worked fine. I pulled all the fonts out, started up Pro Tools and saw everything was back to normal, closed out PT put the fonts back, opened up a session and everything was a-ok! Thanks man!

I had the exact same font problem and resolved it the same way, as you suggested. Thanks.
