Which SCSI do I have

I had been using Digidesign's Session 8 for the PC. It required a SCSI
hookup. I don't know the different between SCSI, SCSI 2, Ultra SCSI,
Wide SCSI etc.... I know it has 50 pins on the connector, 25 on top and
bottom.

What type of SCSI do I have, and if it is a lower speed SCSI, can I
adapt it to a faster speed?

Chaz,

The Session 8 card is a slow, narrow SCSI bus. Unfortunately, there is no way to increase the bus speed (5MB/sec burst), but that should be more than adequate for 8 tracks of 16 bit.
