2940 Software Drivers

I'm looking to buy an 2940UW used and need to know If I should download the latest drivers From the Adaptec site.

I see that there are version 4.0 and 3.0 control panels I know there was a whole thread About updating Drivers!

Is there an extention need for the 2940??

Check out the Adaptec information on the Late Breaking technical info page.

There's a link to the Adaptec ftp site where you can get the latest control panel and firmware.

The information relates primarily to the B&W G3s, but you should check it out.
