Firmware Questions

Hi all,

I've just purchased a Pro Control and waiting for it to arrive here. However the unit has been used with PT 5.0 and we're still using 4.3.2........what should i be aware of with firmware as i understand that when booting 5.0 the firmware will upgrade on the ProControl.

How do I downgrade the firmware??

The firmware for Pro Control is
built into the Pro Tools software.
After the scan for Pro Control
and you hit return you will be prompted
that the current version of Pro Control
firmware is.. and that it does not match the current version, do you want to load the current version, you enter yes, and that will
load the firmware version for that version of PT. Then when you upgrade to Pro Tools 5.0.1
you do the same, and update to the latest version of the firmware. Each version of Pro Tools has its own Pro Control firmware adding
new features and fixes.
