View Full Version : AutoTune not supported!!

So I notice in the Readme document that Antares RTAS plug-ins aren't supported in PT Free... which would be the only real use I would have for PT Free.

Does this mean the only option I have then for my Pismo 500 is to get a Magma chassis and an 001 system which I'll have to lug around (on the plane for instance) if I want to tune vocals?

Obviously I'm a registered TDM and Autotune owner - looking for a mobile solution to be able to also take a stereo instrumental mix and a vocal track (or 6) home for the nite and be able to tune them there - and bring them back the next day and transfer them back to my TDM system.

Any official comments about the future possibility of AutoTune RTAS support in PT Free would be apreciated.

BTW the QuickPunch alert message when you have more than 3 tracks armed needs to be updated in the resource file.... although it seems like it would have been nice to have one extra voice for QuickPunch when all 8 tracks are being used (but then again it is free http://www.digidesign.com/ubb/images/icons/smile.gif)

Thanks.

Have Digi And Anares conspired to hold back this one pro feature? or is this a bad dream?

It works on mine in fact all the Antares plugins work fine
I will tell you for a fact that Kracked Antares and bombfactory plugs will not work on PT free
I have Authorized plugs and they work fine

I wonder if this was Antares' decision, not Digi's? You should contact Antares and ask them.

Too bad we can't just get the singers to sing in tune, like in the good old days...

So if the plug doesnt work, just get the standalone version of autotune...I like it better anyway
