I am using Roland UA 30 with my power book which works fine for me. Only latency still a problem which can't be solved

jimiwong:
Does the sp/dif i/o work with Pro Tools Free?
The latency issue doesn't bother me because I'd only be using PT free on my iBook for editing...Digital i/o is important though.
Thanks

jimiwong,
I am considering the Roland unit. I understand that you can run tracks to PTFree. SPDIF?? how about 16 bit files?
Can you run them in sync??
