Can't change sample rate from 44.1

Even though the docs recommend 48kHz for an SBLive! card (which I always use with Cubase anyway), Setups|Hardware always defaults to an unchangeable 44.1kHz -- oddity is, I've got an SBLive! AND an ISA SB16 (Ilove my DB50-XG daughterboard), but the SBLive! is the "prefered device" in Control Panel|MultiMedia, and PTFree plays & records fine through this. Any clues?

In Setups|Hardware, you may need to click and hold the mouse down for a second in order to change the selection.

Wow! That was a quick reply ... better still, it works! I did this while still online, and, reading through some of the other postings about crashes, etc., I think a CLEAN Windows installation and LOADS (i.e. 128MB+ of RAM might solve a lot of these problems ... thanks Digi!
