50hz hum from surrounds

any word on the 50hz earth hum coming from the surround speakers issue? - it seems to have disappeared from this board.
the hum is mainly prevalent in the surrounds but there is also a little in the center channel.
i'm waiting on a replacement C24 - hopefully coming tomorrow.
in the meantime it's very difficult to accurately mix with this problem. it's drining me up the wall.
have replaced cables, used many different power sources on different and same earths and am convinced it's the output stage of the desk.
is each C24 tested before it leaves the factory floor? images/icons/confused.gif images/icons/shocked.gif images/icons/confused.gif

I have the same problem on all of the C24 outs and have tried lifting AC grounds, lifting pin 1's, etc.
I have spoken to Digi several times about it but have not gotten anywhere.
Please post your results about your replacement C24.

just installed the replacement C24 and the surrounds are fine. seem it WAS the output stage of the last desk.
Happy Days! now back to work...
If only we could charge someone for the lost time...
