SDII won't start up

I received a message saying "bus error" when attempting to launch SDII on my Quadra950 w/AMII card. I re-installed the software, rebuilt the desktop, and ran Norton utilities. The program now freezes the mac when attempting to launch. Suggestions?

We require the Serial Switch Control Panel to be installed and set to "Compatible" when running on a Quadra 950. Please confirm that you have Serial Switch installed & configured properly. Without this, you can expect these types of hang-ups while trying to launch SDII or Pro Tools.
