Hi Guys,
anyone had this issue? After installing waves 7 (+additional hotfix) I can finally see the v7 plugins in protools (8.0.1), however, when I try to launch a waves plugin I get a dae -7400 error.

Yes, I'm having the same problem. Waves 6 was working fine, but now I keep getting the error message -7400 on waves plug ins I know I have enough system resources for.

Ok, in the mean time I had contact with Waves support, reinstalled waves (after manually cleaning out windows reg upon waves' advice)...
Reinstalled Protools, but the problem remains. The vst versions are working fine in Ableton. The TDM/RTAS (and even audiosuite) versions are generating the DAE 7400 error every time. When I open a session that contains waves plugins, the session starts with all waves plugs set to inactive. Trying to activate them triggers the same DAE 7400 error

Yes, this is frustrating. I had V6 working perfectly. I shouldn't of put V7 on yet.
