Waves 7 plugs fine adjust mode now broken! and also don't work with control surface

Seems like just about any software developer should stick his head in the mud a yell, I AM ASHAMED OF MYSELF......

The further we advance into the future the WORSE all software gets. Aint it amazing. This waves update is a joke and so are the programmers who code the dials and knobs. They have always responded as if the user was a robotic malfunctioning war admiral....

And the support people remind me of a bunch of neanderthal heathens still living in a cave....

I installed V7 under Snow Leopard with PT 8.0.3pr

When I opened any Waves plugs and control them on my Command 8, I saw the problem everyone is talking about with the fine adjust.

I found that all I have to do is turn the knob FAST and fine adjust works great! If I turn the knob slowly while pressing the Command key, it doesn't budge but like I said, if you turn the knob quickly, it works.

How can you make fine tactile adjustments when turning a knob fast

Turning it fast just makes it jump to some random setting! if i'm trying to control the ceiling on L3-16 for example and i want 0.02dbfs its just not possible! it will go 1.3 then 0.9 then 0.6 and anywhere it pleases to go.

I've had no choice but to revert back to Waves version 6 (After all that agro getting 7 and buying new iloks and i'm back on 6)

I turn the physical knob faster than normal but the virtual knob moves slowly. Make sense?

I just tried it on L3-16 on my Command 8 and it works just fine. I was able to adjust in 0.1db increments. I guess the Control 24 is different.

No, I'm seeing odd behaviour on C|8 as well so there is definetely a bug that Waves should fix. Let's see how fast they are addressing this issue...
