I appreciate Tech Support for taking our concerns straight to the top. I know Avid will get it right with "you guys" directing them. I was pleased to find out that Eleven Rack has Reverb one in it. And I am now considering to purchase it for my effects rack to my keyboard. Rather I should say I am buying it eventually.

Now I'll just wait on the interface with dsp for 48 bit mixing engine and the ability to run 2 more HD plugins.

I don’t have a ton of compatibility complaints. I am willing to use only qualified components in my builds that are known to work. If I stray from this, I fully expect that it is an experimental move, and the old parts bin may get another addition and the DUC gets another piece of information. We strip XP to just what’s needed to run PT no extras.

In addition I never have expected a Pro Tools computer to run anything except for Pro Tools and never put it online. With this approach we seldom have errors or crashes and we have gone weeks at a time without a reboot. I strongly suggest to anyone using PT on PC that this is the best way to insure maximum stability.

All this being said… It would be nice to see all applications follow the rule; if the Qualified Operating System will run, so will the application. But, let's get over it, that is not the case.

Some more info on these qualified i7 machines would be greatly appreciated. There have been several people asking about i7 PCs compatible with Pro Tools HD, and I haven't seen any info to pass on to them, till now. Considering the subject and intention of this thread, this would probably be a good place to start telling people about the new systems they could be running HD on.
